2018 Trustee Gala and Campaign Kick-off

The 2018 Trustee Gala and Campaign Kick-off was a tremendous success!

We are so grateful to all of our participating sponsors, alumni and friends.

An over-flowing attendance of 300 came together in unity at the Beaumont Inn’s Grande Pavilion to celebrate and kick-off the largest campaign in Misericordia’s 94-year history. In addition to serving as an appreciation event for Misericordia’s dedicated Trustee Associates, the public was invited to participate in this fundraiser event in which an unprecedented double Founders Medal awards were bestowed upon John C. Metz and the late Frank M. Henry for their boundless philanthropy to Misericordia.

To all who gave – and will give to the campaign – thank you, most of all, on behalf of our entire student body. It is for the benefit of the students that the founding Sisters first broke ground. It is the reason Misericordia exists and that we embark on the Now for Tomorrow campaign, one whose fulfilled initiatives will have an incredibly positive, transformation effect on the campus and in the surrounding region for decades to come.

We ask you to do your best in support of the campaign, so we can do our best for the students.

It begins with YOU – giving YOUR BEST helps us to bring more talented students closer to their dream. It will help raise a wing and renovation needed to create the new Frank M. and Dorothea Science Center, a facility vital to the students’ advanced education and research potential if they are to meet the demands of a 21st Century, rapidly-evolving needs in society. Help teach them, through your living out the Mercy Charisms, how to make this world a better and more humane place to live.
